Back on track when opening chase account at Market Rasen (21.4f) 12 months ago. Well held in stronger company thereafter, no threat after wind op at Ayr in April but has gone well fresh previously.
Multiple course winner who regained winning thread from 4 lb lower mark over 2½m here in July. Not in quite the same form when third over C&D later that month but bounce back distinctly possible.
C&D winner who cashed in off reduced mark for latest success at Sedgefield (29f) back in October. However, largely underwhelming efforts since, well held all 4 starts this campaign. Visor refitted.
Four-time course winner who ran well to finish third over C&D in May. However, subsequent efforts not so encouraging, well held fifth behind Amalfi Doug back here last month. Eased further 2 lb since.

Forecasts
Amalfi Doug (6/5), Dead Right (2/1), Lord Napier (3/1), Red Giant (9/2), Boy's On Tour (15/2)
This looks wide open despite the small field and it may pay to take a chance on the returning DEAD RIGHT. Okay, he needs forgiving a lesser effort at Ayr in April but that came in a much stronger affair and with a very good record fresh to call upon, a much better showing is anticipated. Amalfi Doug goes particularly well around here and is feared most.
