Completed hat-trick in handicaps in 2020 and returned with second in Group 3 at Newbury. Rare poor run at Goodwood but bounced back quickly when fourth in Geoffrey Freer at Newbury last time. Player.

Progressive at 3 yrs and improved again when landing the Rosebery at Kempton in March. Well down the field in John Smith's Cup last time but could bounce back with tongue strap now tried. Interesting.
|
Smart performer at his best but he's been below par all three runs this term, eighth in 14f handicap at Royal Ascot in June. Needs to get back on track.
|
Useful 3-time winner who shaped as if retaining most of his ability after a lengthy absence when fourth at Newmarket last week, unsurprisingly running out of steam late on. Claims if building on that.

Without A Fight (2/1), Al Zaraqaan (2/1), Living Legend (9/4), Fair Star (5/2), Sextant (8/1)
Tough to rule any of these out but a chance is taken on AL ZARAQAAN, who hasn't made much impact since scoring at Kempton in March but is taken to get back to winning ways from this reduced mark with a first-time tongue replacing the cheekpieces he wore at York last time. C&D winner Without A Fight could provide the biggest threat, ahead of the returning Fair Star.
