Asjad⁵⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 9-9| J: Dane O'Neill| T: R Varian| OR: 95| D

4/6

Has looked promising when winning Salisbury maiden and Doncaster novice (both 6f) this summer. The Doncaster form was boosted by the second comfortably winning a handicap next time. Could be smart.

Desert Gulf²²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: Callum Shepherd| T: W J Knight| OR: 92| D

2/1

Has improved to notch back-to-back wins over 6f at Yarmouth in recent weeks. 6 lb rise demands more but it's dangerous to rule out further progress from this thriving 3-y-o.

Form: 360411

Desert Doctor³⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 9-2| J: L Morris| T: E Walker| OR: 85| D

5/1

In good form at Meydan around the turn of the year. Not in same form in 2 outings in Britain since but he met trouble at Goodwood latterly so a line can be put through that. Very best form on AW.

Forecasts

Asjad (4/6), Desert Gulf (2/1), Desert Doctor (5/1)

A small field but it is a useful contest. ASJAD gave 5 lb and a comfortable beating to the promising Adaay To Remember at Doncaster last month so even an opening mark of 95 could prove lenient and he can prove too strong for fellow 3-y-o Desert Gulf.
