2019 Royal Hunt Cup winner who was a fine third in the Golden Mile Handicap at Glorious Goodwood last summer. Not seen since a lesser run in Cambridgeshire last September but gone well fresh before.
Built on promising York second when readily seeing off a progressive 3-y-o at Newmarket (1m) in October. Shaped much better than the bare result at Meydan 3 months later and remains of interest.
Posted two useful efforts in good handicaps to end 2020. Disappointing return in Lincoln at Doncaster but ran creditably back in a visor when third in a C&D handicap in May. Can remain competitive.
Turned in his best effort of the season to come out on top in 5-runner handicap at Newmarket (8f, good to firm) 11 days ago, overcoming a positional bias. Should remain competitive.
Nottingham reappearance form is red-hot and he did his bit for it with victory in 4-runner affair at Lingfield next time. Handicapper has looked in control since, though.
Built on encouraging reappearance fifth at Sandown when narrowly landing a 1m Bath handicap. Well positioned that day and could run only respectably back up in trip at Newmarket last time.
Useful sort who was down the field in Spring Cup over C&D on return in April. Shaped much better at Doncaster 3 months later but failed to build on that effort back at this trip at Ascot last time.
Wide-margin Hamilton novice winner last September. Failed to make a major impact in better company next 2 starts but it's still early in his career. Has been gelded ahead of handicap debut/return.
Dual winner over this trip and again left the impression that there could be a bigger effort in the locker when things drop right at Thirsk 23 days ago. Cheekpieces on for the 1st time.
Useful performer at 2, culminating with excellent second in Horris Hill Stakes at Newbury. Underwhelming both starts back this season though, so has plenty to prove at present. Has been gelded.
Signed off 2020 with Redcar win in the mud and deeply impressive when landing 1m Kempton novice on return, showing a tremendous turn of foot. Looks well ahead of the handicapper.

TROLL PENINSULA defied a penalty in impressive fashion on his return at Kempton in May, and with the prospect of more to come off what appears a very generous mark, he should take plenty of beating. Chance boasts a progressive profile and remains of interest back from another break, while Itkaann potentially has a bigger performance in the locker when things drop right.
