Runner-up on second of 2 starts in Irish points but just modest form over hurdles so far, shaping as if better for the run when fourth at this track (19.6f, good to soft) 25 days ago.

Dual bumper winner in France. Back on track over hurdles for this yard of late, running well in a first-time hood but put in her place by a less-exposed pair at Worcester last month. In the mix.

Modest handicapper on Flat (stays 1½m), back to winning ways at Catterick on yard debut in May. Showed a bit on hurdles debut at Worcester last month but failed to back that up there 4 weeks ago.

Modest form at best over hurdles but seems to have lost her way, making little impact in handicap at Perth last month. Switched back to maiden company but others make more appeal.

Stepped forward from her debut effort when runner-up in Wetherby bumper last November but unable to match that a month later at Musselburgh. Any market support should be noted on hurdles debut.

Hinted at ability despite being beaten a long way in a Hereford bumper, but showed nothing in 2 outings over hurdles, leaving John O'Shea/off 17 month prior to latest start. Easy to look elsewhere.

Just modest form at best in bumpers/on hurdles debut (well backed) and will make more appeal when handicapping over further.

Still to get her head in front but ran creditably in handicaps in May with a couple of fourth-place finishes. Leading player back in maiden company for in-form yard. 1 of 3 for Fergal O'Brien.

Off the mark at the third attempt in bumpers at Bellewstown for Nigel Slevin 2 years ago. Bought for £32,000 and she looks one to watch in the betting on yard debut.

Fair form at best on Flat for E. Libaud in France (raced 4 times) and the market should be a good indicator as to what is expected on hurdling debut. 1 of 3 for Fergal O'Brien.

Al Namix filly. Dam unplaced both starts over hurdles. Another debutante who needs a close eye on in the betting.

Fair maiden on the Flat. Showed a bit first 2 starts over hurdles but has shown little on both starts since. Bit to prove back from a couple of poor efforts on the level but she's open to progress.

Forecasts

She's A Novelty (2/1), Ginger Du Val (3/1), Sweettowatch (11/2), Esme Shelby (6/1), Kitty Hall (14/1), Le Mur (16/1), Lunar Bounty (18/1), Ince (18/1), Go On Gal (40/1), Misty Mani (50/1), Roque Angel (80/1), Ms Intrigue (500/1)

Verdict

Hard to be confident about any of these but preference is for SHE'S A NOVELTY, who ran creditably in a pair of handicaps in May with a couple of fourth-placed finishes and could take all the beating back in maiden company. Ginger du Val has stepped up her game since joining Mel Rowley so she's feared most, ahead of Dr Richard Newland's Irish-recruit Sweettowatch.

  2. GINGER DU VAL (FR)
  3. SWEETTOWATCH (IRE)
