Better than ever after a wind op when winning Wolferton Stakes at Royal Ascot in June before beaten a head by Bangkok in York Stakes over C&D last month. Has plenty on his plate here, however.
Top-class colt who scored twice in the Middle East early in 2021 and arrives on the back of excellent second in King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot. Can get back to winning ways now.
High-class filly who went unbeaten at 3yrs. Returned with gutsy win in Prince of Wales's Stakes at Ascot and good third in King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes there last time. Well in the mix.
Smart colt who landed Group 3 Classic Trial at Sandown and King Edward VII Stakes at Ascot before good third to Hurricane Lane in Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp last time. More needed here, though.
Very smart colt who made all in Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh. Not at his best since when fourth in Derby at Epsom and Irish equivalent. Sort to bounce back after a break, and no forlorn hope.
Smart colt who readily landed four-timer in Royal Ascot's Hampton Court Stakes. Left poorly placed when beaten neck by Bangkok in York Stakes over C&D last month. More to come, and a lively outsider.
Likeable filly who has made giant strides, career best when beating Poetic Flare by 1¾l in Goodwood's Sussex Stakes. Bagged Coronation at Ascot earlier in summer. Player if her stamina holds out here.

The late defection of ante-post favourite St Mark's Basilica leaves the door open for MISHRIFF who posted an excellent second to Derby winner Adayar in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot and can go one better now. Love now carries Aidan O'Brien's hopes and, as at Ascot, she can follow home the Gosden's top-class colt, with Mohaafeth appealing as the pick of the remainder.
