£7,500 3-y-o, Sea The Stars gelding. Dam 6f/7f winner. Yard no stranger to success in bumpers and, with Brian Hughes booked, he's one to monitor closely in the betting. Wears tongue strap.

Half-brother to useful hurdler/high-class chaser Imperial Aura and fair hurdler/useful chaser Pawn Star. Dam was a bumper winner, but this 6-y-o is probably best watched on debut. Wears tongue strap.

Didn't shape badly on debut at Naas in February, but he took a step firmly in the wrong direction at Leopardstown a month later and bit to prove starting out for new yard here.

There were some positives to glean from his C&D debut in June, but he's probably more of a long-term prospect.

€40,000 3-y-o, £12,000 4-y-o. Half-brother to Lou Magnifica. Dam, 2m/2¼m hurdle/chase winner, half-sister to French 17f-21f chase winner Lou Gold. Interesting to see what the market has to say.

Very limited appeal on paper and she will only be of interest if the market vibes are notably upbeat. Tongue strap enlisted.

Verdict

MASRUR will be of strong interest if the market speaks in his favour, given that he represents the trainer-jockey combination that struck with a well-supported newcomer in a similar race here last month. In the C&D bumper in question, Solway Molly finished second to the Stuart Crawford-trained winner and she may again be the bride's maid. Lou Marvelous is well worth a second look in the betting.
