Posted a career best when winning 6f handicap at Leicester in May, and quickly put a poor run at Windsor behind him when second in a big-field handicap at Goodwood (heavy) 13 days ago. Respected.
It's now 21 runs since his last win in 2019, but he is easing the weights and will find this much easier than his latest assignment at Ascot.
Has yet to run a bad race on all-weather and bounced back to best when third at Newcastle in June. Run best excused at York next time having been slowly away so remains one to bear in mind. Hood on.
Enjoying another excellent season and posted a career best when dead-heating in 5f Sandown handicap in July. Race not run to suit at Haydock next time and back up in trip now.
Winless since last summer but largely consistent sort who arrives on the back of a good second over C&D last week where he conceded first run to the winner. Can remain competitive.
Benefited from the drop back to 6f when winning 6-runner handicap at Windsor (good to firm, 7/2) 18 days ago, bit in hand. 3 lb rise fair and she ought to go well again.
Belatedly off the mark for this yard in first-time blinkers at Lingfield (6f, good) in June. Not disgraced next time but done himself no favours with a slow start at York (6f) 21 days ago.
Won twice at Brighton (6f) in April and respectable efforts last 3 starts, but needs to pull out a bit more if he's to defy his current mark.
Fairly-useful maiden for Aidan O'Brien (sold 6,000 gns in October), but well held last 2 starts and looks high enough in the weights on belated return for new yard.
Fair maiden who again ran well when second in 7-runner handicap (10/3) at Yarmouth (6f, good) last week, running on. 5 lb wrong at the weights.
Turned in another good placed effort when runner-up at Brighton (6f) last week, but has a poor strike rate and is 17 lb wrong at the weights here.

Forecasts
Yimou (3/1), Al Saariyah (10/3), Able Kane (11/2), Raatea (13/2), Pistoletto (9/1), Recall The Show (10/1), Triggered (11/1), Phoenix Star (14/1), Legende d'Art (16/1), Hyde Park Barracks (80/1), Jack Ryan (100/1)
RAATEA has made a good start for his new yard, and with his latest effort at York easily overlooked, he remains one to be interested in. Windsor scorer Al Saariyah seems sure to go well again following a small rise, while Pistoletto will find this much easier than his latest assignment at Ascot and is also considered.
- RAATEA
- AL SAARIYAH (IRE)
- PISTOLETTO (USA)
