It is disconcerting that BOLD EMPEROR has failed to complete both starts since switched to fences, but he may well have prevailed had he not unseated rider at the final fence at Ballinrobe last time. The 8-y-o is taken to atone for that here. Secret Cargo wasn't seen to best effect at Kilbeggan and looks a big each-way player judged on his effort here in June. Gelee Blanche is also shortlisted.
