11/2

Lightly-raced winner. Successful at Beverley in June. 13/2, last of 6 in handicap at York (8.8f, good) 19 days ago, having run of race. Down 2 lb, but still looks a shade too high in the weights.

Form: 3616

Lexington Fury²⁶⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: Jason Watson| T: R Hannon| OR: 76

4/1

Promising type. Second of 10 in maiden at Wolverhampton (7.2f, 5/1) when last seen in November. Gelded since and he bring potential to the table now pitched intoa handicap.

Form: 842-

2/1

Career best when winning 8-runner handicap at Nottingham (8.3f, good, 3/1) 13 days ago, keeping on well. Now upped in grade off a 7 lb higher mark, but couldn't rule out.

Form: 413221

Power Station⁶⁷

2/1

17/2, eighth of 12 in handicap at Doncaster (8f, good to firm) 67 days ago. In good form prior to that, but the handicapper may just about have his measure for now.

Form: 986-228

Arcadian Nights³⁵

12/1

Latest win at Wolverhampton in March. Last of 7 in handicap (7/1) at Bath (8f, good to soft) 35 days ago (subsequently gelded). It's starting to look as though he's simply a better horse on the AW.

Forecasts

Roman Mist (2/1), Power Station (2/1), Lexington Fury (4/1), Just For Yuse (11/2), Coul Kat (7/1), Arcadian Nights (12/1), Oneonechop (33/1)

Providing he is ready to roll on this belated seasonal reappearance, LEXINGTON FURY could be the one in what looks a very trappy contest. He progressed with each of his 3 runs on the all-weather late last year and has been handed a potentially handy mark for this handicap bow. Roman Mist is feared, despite rising in class and the weights, while Coul Kat and Oneonechop are others to consider.
