Ninth of 12 in handicap (17/2) at Ascot (8f, good) 31 days ago. Makes tapeta debut and wouldn't be without hope if recent wind operation has the desired effect.
Latest win at Newcastle in February. 40/1, fourth of 5 in handicap at Newmarket (8f, good to firm) 9 days ago. 2-4 on artificial surfaces and couldn't rule out.
Latest win at Haydock in July. Seventh of 9 in handicap at Chester (7.6f, soft, 11/2) 31 days ago. Winner of C&D novice on sole previous visit here on debut in December 2018, and he's one to consider.
First run since leaving Marco Botti when last of 8 in handicap (10/1) at Sandown (10f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Was returning from a 4-month absence on that occasion and better expected this time.
Lightly-raced maiden. 14/1, sixth of 9 in handicap at Yarmouth (8f, good to firm) 69 days ago. Will need to find some improvement for the switch to this surface if he's to play a leading role.
Seventh of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (8f, 18/1) 45 days ago. Entitled to come on for that run and it'd be no surprise were he to bounce back with a bold show.
Tongue strap on for 1st time, fifth of 8 in handicap (28/1) at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) 45 days ago. Up in trip and needs to raise his game a notch.
Temperamental sort. Remains a maiden after 16 Flat runs. Creditable third of 12 in handicap at this C&D (9/1) 14 days ago, running on. Cheekpieces back on and each-way chance if again on-song.
One win from 24 Flat runs. 11/1, creditable sixth of 12 in handicap at this course (6.1f) 14 days ago. Significantly up in trip and he has no more than an each-way squeak.

Forecasts
Soaring Star (4/1), Sucellus (4/1), Ghost Rider (9/2), Giuseppe Cassioli (7/1), Lammas (7/1), Yorkshire Pirlo (7/1), John Jasper (16/1), Calonne (16/1), Harry George (25/1)
Though he made little impact at Sandown recently, GIUSEPPE CASSIOLI is likely to be seen in an altogether better light with that run under his belt (first start for 4 months) and back on the all-weather (has made the frame in all but one of his 10 appearances on polytrack/tapeta). He gets the nod ahead of Sucellus, who remains on a fair mark, while Harry George also enters calculations.
- GIUSEPPE CASSIOLI
- SUCELLUS
- HARRY GEORGE (IRE)
