Twice-raced maiden. 200/1, hinted at ability when fifth of 9 in novice event at Leicester (10f, good) 19 days ago. Will be of more interest in handicaps a bit further down the line.

Produced a promising first effort when third in maiden at Doncaster in June. Not so good back there last time but it remains early days.

Ran to a fairly useful level second time up when runner-up in 10.2f novice event at Doncaster on return in June. Failed to repeat that effort at Leicester, though better than the result. Big shout.

Forecasts

Jasmine Joy (1/1), Neptune Seas (5/4), Princess Anouschka (9/2), Von Melas (80/1), Melgate Mystic (80/1), Welsh Wayne (150/1)

Verdict

JASMINE JOY and Neptune Seas stand out, with the narrow vote going to the former, who simply didn't get the breaks when she needed them at Leicester last time. Princess Anouschka is a well-bred Kingman filly who could take a sizeable step forward from her debut when behind the selection, so shouldn't be ruled out.

  1. JASMINE JOY (IRE)
  2. NEPTUNE SEAS (IRE)
  3. PRINCESS ANOUSCHKA
