14/1, second of 8 in handicap at this C&D (soft) 33 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Richard Hannon and more needed if he's to go one better this time.
Eleven runs since last win in 2020. 20/1, very good second of 9 in handicap at Ascot (7f, firm) 7 days ago, would have benefited from stronger handling. Each-way chance.
Seventeen runs since last win in 2019. 8/1, bit below form sixth of 10 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good) 42 days ago. Would be a danger to all if back to something like his best.
Latest win at Windsor in June. Sixth of 7 in handicap (9/2) at Newbury (7f, good to firm) 14 days ago, not ideally placed. Conditions won't be a problem and he's worthy of consideration.
Winner at Bath in April. Good second of 8 in handicap at Epsom (7f, good, 15/2) 16 days ago. 1 lb rise fair, but will probably find at least one too good once more.
Eighth of 9 in handicap at Sandown (7f, good to soft, 16/1) 28 days ago. Profile is starting to take on a rather patchy look, but he's effective on slow ground and shouldn't be written off.
Winner at Newbury in June. Respectable third of 7 in handicap there (7f, good to firm, 6/4) 15 days ago, left poorly placed. Has to be taken seriously off the same mark.

Mabre (15/8), Deputy (7/2), Marlay Park (11/2), Eye Of The Water (11/2), Hajjam (7/1), Glasvegas (8/1), Onaraggatip (10/1), Cityzen Serg (33/1)
Preference is for DEPUTY, who did the job well when opening his account at Newbury in June. He wasn't seen to best effect when third back there recently and, with just half-a-dozen runs under his belt, there could be better to come from this 3-y-o. Eye of The Water wasn't beaten far in a stronger handicap at Newmarket last time and is next on the list ahead of Onaraggatip and Mabre.
- DEPUTY (IRE)
- EYE OF THE WATER (IRE)
- ONARAGGATIP
