Fair bumper winner who was beaten a long way on recent return at Uttoxeter but had an excuse having been reportedly struck into. Worth another chance.

Well held in bumper at Stratford (16.3f, good) on NH debut 12 days ago. Easily opposed.

Long-standing maiden on Flat but early signs are that she will do better over hurdles, finishing second in Cartmel novices on her last 2 outings. Player in first-time blinkers.

Poor form in bumpers and pulled on Southwell hurdle debut subsequently.

Well held in bumper/both starts over hurdles in 2016/17. Scored in points since but has been disappointing in that sphere this year and makes little appeal back under Rules.

Shaped best when second of 10 in hunter chase (16/1) at Cork (24f, good to soft) on NH debut in April. Opened account in points later that month and sold for £43,000 subsequently.

Has an eye-catching pedigree, but was well held in a pair of bumpers earlier in the year. Has left Matt Sheppard and wears first-time tongue strap.

Leading Light filly. Dam (h101), 2m hurdle winner, half-sister to bumper winner/useful hurdler (stayed 2½m) Big Eared Fran. Market perhaps best guide to expectations.

Forecasts

Crystal Gazing (11/5), Sinndarella (11/4), Esme Shelby (3/1), Gordyny (8/1), Trickalight (11/1), Bluebell Polka (12/1), Saxon Queen (25/1), Southfield Megan (66/1), Squeaky (80/1), Iroseaboveitall (200/1)

Verdict

SINNDARELLA is clearly a better hurdler than Flat performer and, with her latest effort backed up by the clock, she could be the answer. Crystal Gazing had a clear excuse on her recent return at Uttoxeter so is worth another chance. Gordyny offered a bit to work on in a Newton Abbot bumper and may prove best of the rest.

  1. SINNDARELLA (IRE)
  2. CRYSTAL GAZING
  3. GORDYNY (FR)
