Career best when winning 7-runner 19f handicap hurdle at Warwick in April but was a long way below that form under this rider over C&D next time. Back from a break.

Dual winner in handicap hurdles last season and back to form when second over this trip at Southwell 4 weeks ago. Nudged back up 2 lb but could go well again.

Placed twice in handicap hurdles last summer but has struggled since, including in a first-time visor after 8 weeks off here last month. Plenty to prove.

Back to winning ways in 2m handicap hurdle here last month but not so good a fortnight on after a 10 lb rise and goes back up in distance now.

Just 1 handicap hurdle win to his name but caught the eye over C&D last month, late headway from off stop-start gallop and finishing with running left. Interesting down another 3 lb.

Hard to catch right, running a good race at Kempton (21f) on his return in May but well beaten here next time. 3 lb drop in the weights will help.

Has excelled of late, winning 2m Uttoxeter maiden/novice hurdles under this rider. Return to longer trip will suit on handicap debut and could go well again now he's motoring.

Returned to form when third of 8 in handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (20f, good to soft, 15/2) 7 weeks ago. 2 lb lower now and is one for the shortlist.

Fair maiden. Made a promising start over hurdles for this yard at Fontwell (19.2f) in May but in nothing like the same sort of form over longer trips twice since. Cheekpieces on for handicap debut.

Capitalised on drop in the weights as he got off the mark for this yard in C&D handicap hurdle 4 weeks ago, staying on well under this rider. Capable of better in France and good claims again up 6 lb.

Bumper winner in Ireland in 2019. Has caught the eye in a couple of his qualifying runs over hurdles and rates a potential improver now switching to handicaps after a break. Interesting.

Forecasts

Coral (7/4), I'm So Busy (4/1), Mix Of Clover (9/1), The Vollan (10/1), Neachells Bridge (10/1), Druim Samhraidh (10/1), Faint Hope (12/1), Paseo (14/1), Top Man (16/1), Vancouver (18/1), Tayzar (20/1), Jaisalmer (40/1), Dock Of The Bay (66/1)

Verdict

It could be worth chancing DRUIM SAMHRAIDH on his handicap debut. He's caught the eye a few times in this sphere and could do a fair bit better back from a break. Coral beat a subsequent winner over C&D 4 weeks ago and can go well again up 6 lb. I'm So Busy is feared in his hat-trick bid, with Paseo another to consider after catching the eye here last time.

  1. DRUIM SAMHRAIDH (IRE)
  2. CORAL (FR)
  3. I'M SO BUSY
