15/8

Fair dual 2m bumper scorer. Took a while to get to grips with hurdling, but off the mark at the fourth attempt at Worcester last month and matched that form when second under a penalty 3 weeks ago.

Allsfineandandy^p¹³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Kimber⁽⁷⁾| T: C L Tizzard

In good hands but a poor maiden on Flat.

Form:

Mister Serious^p³⁶

Age: 12| Weight: 11-0| J: Conor Ring⁽³⁾| T: B Barr| OR: 84

250/1

Lightly raced under Rules and hard to know how much ability he retains.

Form: 3/PP-PP0

O'Faolains Lad^p,t¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: R P McLernon| T: Mrs R Ford

40/1

Winning pointer but ready brushed aside on Rules debut a fortnight ago.

Form: 1/F2-523

Ship Of The Fen^v⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: R T Dunne| T: Ian Williams| OR: 107

11/8

Fairly useful on the Flat. Not quite the same force in this sphere but kept on well for third in 18.5f maiden here last week and step back up in trip will suit.

Form: 8465/63

Van Meegeren¹²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: T Scudamore| T: D G Bridgwater| OR: 124

9/4

Looked set to make a winning start over hurdles until crashing out at the last in Ocotber. Flat winner in June and he looks the one to beat.

Form: P27/F-

Polar Light¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-7| J: Nick Scholfield| T: P Henderson| OR: 71

250/1

Established as a poor performer over hurdles in 2018/19. Off 19 months and showed nothing back on the level 18 days ago.

Form: 020UP9/

Forecasts

Ship Of The Fen (11/8), Ultimate Getaway (15/8), Van Meegeren (9/4), O'Faolains Lad (40/1), Allsfineandandy (66/1), Mister Serious (250/1), Polar Light (250/1)

VAN MEEGEREN fell with the race at his mercy when last seen in this sphere in October and a Flat win last month confirms he's in good order. The 7 lb he receives from Ultimate Getaway may prove to be decisive.
