Debut winner last year who matched previous best when fifth at Chester (7f) last month, despite using up early energy to get prominent. 1 lb lower now and claims provided he settles.
Promising sort who overcame a positional bias to make it fifth time lucky in a Pontefract novice (6f) in June, leading last ½f and winning cosily. Opening mark looks fair and one to be interested in.
Fair 6f winner in 2020 who took form up a notch when defeating Candescence by 1¼ lengths over C&D earlier this month. Remains low-mileage and respected, particularly granted a strong pace to aim at.
Debut winner at Newcastle (6f). Not beaten far in a couple of 6f handicaps this year but essentially below his best having first crack at 7f last time. Mark continues to ease at least.
Successful once from 6 starts during 2-y-o season for Bryan Smart. Has yet to match pick of form in 2 starts for new yard but latest Hamilton fourth was at least a step back in the right direction.
Lingfield novice winner (1m, AW) who, following an unsuccessful spell on turf, resumed winning ways at Wolverhampton (7f) recently. However, this looks more demanding from 2 lb higher mark.
350,000 gns Frankel filly who has showed promise all 3 starts to date, running green but keeping on for fourth on her qualifying run at Haydock (1m) in April. Likely improver following a break.
Successful in a Haydock novice (7f) last term but not really kicked on since, well held on each of her last 3 starts in handicaps. Joined new yard for 18,000 gns recently but likely best watched.
Pair of 6f wins in the spring and back to winning ways having eased in weights at Redcar (7f) last week, staying on well. May have a little more to offer at this sort of trip.
Lightly-raced winner who has failed to beat a rival on 3 of his 4 starts this season, going off too hard at Nottingham (10.2f) 3 weeks ago. Quickly back in trip now but others more persuasive.

Pagan (2/1), Outrun The Storm (4/1), Beloved (9/2), Candescence (5/1), Northern Express (11/2), Tamaska (9/1), Adaay Dream (20/1), Ford Madox Brown (22/1), Billian (28/1), Ballycommon (50/1), Run This Way (50/1)
PAGAN didn't need to be at his best when getting off the mark at Pontefract in June, yet he was deserving of extra credit in overcoming a positional bias then and, now handicapping from a lenient opening mark, he's fancied to follow up with the prospect of more to come. Beloved is another likely improver and feared, along with Outrun The Storm and Candescence.
