(1)

International Boy¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: P Hanagan| T: R A Fahey| OR: 66

15/2

Appeared to take a step forward when third with a visor enlisted at Redcar on penultimate start, but failed to build on that in a C&D nursery recently and headgear now discarded.

(5)

Perfect Glory²⁰

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: P Mulrennan| T: Phillip Makin

4/1

Showed the benefit of his initial run when third in a 9-runner Ayr maiden (6f) earlier this month, only giving way in the closing stages. This sharper track should help and he's not discounted.

Form: 43

(3)

Captainhughjampton

Age: 2| Weight: 9-3| J: Cam Hardie| T: L A Mullaney

22/1

Foaled April 1. Dam sprint maiden half-sister to smart 1½m-1¾m winner (stayed 2½m) Harbour Law out of useful 2-y-o 5f/6f winner Abunai. Yard rarely strikes with newcomers.

(4)

Joeyremy²⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 9-3| J: Connor Beasley| T: M Dods| BF

2/1

Shaped well when fifth in a big-field Thirsk maiden (6f) on debut, and subsequently found just one too good in a novice over the same C&D. Remains open to improvement and bold show anticipated.

Form: 52

(2)

Outside World¹⁰

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: F Norton| T: C & M Johnston

6/4

Surprisingly easy-to-back ahead of what was ultimately a very promising introdiction at Lingfield (6f, turf) where she was collared in the dying strides, in turn pulling clear of the rest. Big player.

Forecasts

Outside World (6/4), Joeyremy (2/1), Perfect Glory (4/1), International Boy (15/2), Captainhughjampton (22/1)

OUTSIDE WORLD went down all guns blazing on her recent debut at Lingfield, despite the fact that she was seemingly friendless in the market. Assuming the forecast faster ground here doesn't pose a problem, she will take plenty of stopping. That said, Joeyremy is greatly respected on the back of a couple of promising efforts at Thirsk and he is feared most ahead of Perfect Glory.
