Without a win since 2019 but has shown a bit here in recent starts from reduced mark and drops further in grade now.
Showed ability in bumpers and, having seemingly been brought along with handicaps in mind in this sphere, has caught the eye in a couple 2 months apart. This step up in trip will suit. Interesting.
Winner of a handicap chase at Kelso early in 2020, but has rather lost the plot this year, up there for a good way but pulled up for a third successive start back over hurdles last time.
Has shown a bit and should come into his own over a trip like this, upped markedly from 2m here on the back of his return 3 weeks ago. Tongue tie also fitted. One to consider.
Long-standing maiden on another career-low mark here. In the process of running poorly when departing back over fences at Hexham 5 weeks ago. This is the longest trip he's tackled.
Winless since early-2020, but did seem to excel herself from way out of the weights in this headgear quickly back over hurdles (25.4) here last time. This looks tougher.
Had been knocking on the door before finishing down the field in a big-field Doncaster handicap when last seen in November. Might need this.
Returned to form after 8 weeks off when second at Market Rasen (20.6f) under this rider last month. More needed in this deeper-looking contest.
Sole win over hurdles was gained in the opening maiden on this card 5 years ago. Not in much form when last seen last summer and can only be watched after another absence.
Little sign of ability (including on Flat).

Forecasts
Jelski (7/2), Native Choice (7/2), Rock On Tommy (9/2), Red Ochre (11/2), Excalibur (7/1), Grand Enterprise (10/1), On We Go (14/1), Article Fifty (16/1), Crakehall Lad (50/1), Leannes Lady (66/1)
ROCK ON TOMMY catches the eye upped massively in distance fitted with a tongue tie, and he looks like he has a bigger effort in him. Native Choice has a similar profile and probably has more in the locker, while it would be no surprise to see James Moffatt's Jelski pop up in a race like this here soon.
- ROCK ON TOMMY
- NATIVE CHOICE (IRE)
- JELSKI (GER)
