Carlisle maiden winner as a 2-y-o (7.8f, soft) but disappointed in 2 starts last term and again well held on return/on back of wind op at aforementioned venue in May. Likely best watched on yard debut
Largely progressive profile in handicaps, kicking off 2021 with wins here/Ripon in the spring and his latest Doncaster second was up there with his very best efforts. Entitled to go well again.
12/1, step back in right direction when sixth of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (1m) 24 days ago, making headway late on. Now operating 5 lb below last winning mark if he can build on that run further.
Three-time winner on all weather in Ireland but essentially disappointing for various yards since, always behind at Doncaster (11.9f) in June. Plenty to prove despite tumbling mark.
Fifth of 8 in handicap at this course (8.4f) 17 days ago, ridden over 2f out and no extra final 1f. Has yet to find any progress this year but weight allowance facing his elders a plus at least.
Thirteen runs since last win in 2019. Third of 5 in handicap (12/1) at Pontefract (10f, soft) 13 days ago, unable to sustain effort. No forlorn hope on the pick of his form now equipped with a hood.
Boasts a fairly appealing middle-distance pedigree and definite promise in trio of minor/maiden events at around 1m this year. Very much the type to do better now handicapping up at 1¼m.

Casilli (1/1), Night Moment (4/1), Dancin Boy (6/1), Raqisa (13/2), Straitouttacompton (10/1), Chinese Whisperer (14/1), Strawman (18/1), Financial Conduct (50/1)
RAQISA has not gone without promise in a trio of minor/maiden events at around 1m spread over 4 months this year, not seen to best effect when midfield at Ripon 2 weeks ago. The step up to 1¼m promises to suit now handicapping and she could be worth chancing to take a step forward. Casilli rates the chief danger, ahead of Dancin Boy ad Night Moment.
