Mr Tyrrell³³

Age: 7| Weight: 9-12| J: Liam Browne⁽⁷⁾| T: R Hannon| OR: 76

20/1

All the better for reappearance when ending losing run at Windsor (1m) in June, wandering but keeping on. 2 lb rise shouldn't rule out another good showing but not an obvious follow up candidate.

Form: 7356-51

Qasbaz^p¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-12| J: Tom Marquand| T: D M Loughnane| OR: 76| D

11/4

Regained the winning thread in good style at Doncaster (1m, good to firm) recently, travelling smoothly and quickening clear impressively. 7 lb higher mark to defy but clearly thriving so claims again

Form: 50-5621

(1)

Crimson Sand²⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 9-11| J: J P Spencer| T: R Hughes| OR: 82

7/1

Maiden/novice winner on the AW first 2 starts earlier this year. Not kicked on in turf handicaps subsequently, though looked unsuited by being kept to 5f latest.

Form: 0-11735

(7)

The Blue Bower¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-11| J: Oisin Murphy| T: J G Portman| OR: 75| D

33/1

Enjoyed a productive 2020, winning 4 handicaps on AW/turf at up to 7f. Built on return effort when close up third at Kempton (6f) in March and not seen to very best effect at Pontefract (6f) since.

Form: 525-535

(8)

Capla Berry^t³⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 9-10| J: W Buick| T: Rae Guest| OR: 74| D

7/2

Returned in good form this season, adding to her tally over this trip at Doncaster last month. Well positioned how race unfolded but clearly a mare at the top of her game at present. Respected.

Form: 835-241

(5)

Mabre⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: Darragh Keenan| T: P D Evans| OR: 73| BF

9/2

Produced a career-best when resuming winning ways at Windsor (1m, soft) 2 starts back but drop back to 7f possibly not ideal at Ascot since.

Form: 994514

(6)

Foxtrot Sizzler^h²⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: David Egan| T: D Menuisier| OR: 73| C

3/1

Promise in maiden/minor events and improved form switched to handicaps when getting on top late in a 6f handicap here in June. Still unexposed and 7f will hold no fears. One to consider.

Forecasts

Qasbaz (11/4), Foxtrot Sizzler (3/1), Capla Berry (7/2), Mabre (9/2), Crimson Sand (7/1), Rogue Force (12/1), Mr Tyrrell (20/1), The Blue Bower (33/1)

FOXTROT SIZZLER showed ability in a trio of maiden/minor events and stepped up to make a winning handicap debut over 6f here last month, staying on to lead final 100 yds. The return to 7f promises to hold no fears and he can defy a 3 lb higher mark. Qasbaz and Capla Berry are others fancied to feature.
