8/1

Has made good strides this year, notching sixth victory of 2021 when landing a 7f Brighton handicap (good to soft) 10 days ago. More needed here under a penalty, but merits respect all the same.

Enhanced good AW strike rate whem hitting the target at Wolverhampton in April, but well held next time and she's 0-15 on turf.

Extrodinair^p²⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 9-7| J: Robert Tart| T: Jane Chapple-Hyam| OR: 70| D

Light Lily^t¹⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 9-3| J: J F Egan| T: J Butler| OR: 66| D

Successful on 5 occasions in 2020, but belated reappearance/debut for this yard at Doncaster a fortnight ago wasn't overly inspiring.

Wolflet^h,t²²

Age: 4| Weight: 9-2| J: Marco Ghiani| T: S C Williams| OR: 65| D

11/2

Bagged a Lingfield handicap (7f, AW) in April and runner-up twice on turf since, including at Yarmouth on penultimate start. Failed to fire next time, but she'll be a threat if on-song here.

Form: 142626

Global Hope^p⁴⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 9-2| J: L Morris| T: Miss Gay Kelleway| OR: 65

16/1

Hasn't really threatened since latest narrow success at Yarmouth in September, and chances are he'll find a few too good once once more.

Form: 667565

Kick On Kick On^p,t²³

Age: 6| Weight: 8-13| J: W Buick| T: Ian Williams| OR: 62

9/1

Losing run mounting up and hasn't troubled the judge in 5 starts this year. Conversely, he continues to slide down the weights and is of interest upped to 7f here with William Buick booked.

Form: 4-76569

Iva Reflection^b¹⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 8-13| J: Hollie Doyle| T: Mrs L Stubbs| OR: 62| D

4/1

Returned to form when accounting for 12 rivals at Brighton (7f, good) recently, for which a 3 lb rise looks very fair indeed. Big player if able to back that up here.

Form: 580471

(6)

Cmon Cmon^p⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 8-11| J: Faye McManoman⁽³⁾| T: N Tinkler| OR: 60| BF| D

11/2

Opened turf account at Yarmouth (7f, good to firm) in June and didn't do much wrong when third over the same C&D last week. Mark unchanged and it's not hard to envisage this 4-y-o going close.

Form: 252143

Forecasts

Extrodinair (4/1), Iva Reflection (4/1), Heptathlete (11/2), Cmon Cmon (11/2), Wolflet (11/2), Velvet Vista (8/1), Kick On Kick On (9/1), Global Hope (16/1), Light Lily (50/1)

It may be worth rolling the dice with KICK ON KICK ON, who admittedly hasn't got his head in front for a while but he's down to a career-low mark, has the assistance of William Buick, and moving up to 7f could be just the tonic. Recent Brighton winners Iva Reflection and Velvet Vista both command respect, while Cmon Cmon should also have a part to play and Wolflet isn't without hope either.
