Off time: 16:15 | Winning time: 4m 1.10s

Assemble^t¹²⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-10| J: Gavin Brouder⁽⁷⁾| T: J P O'Brien| OR: 147

9/1

Latest win in chase at Fairyhouse in November. 20/1, creditable fifth of 21 in Paddy Power Plate at Cheltenham (20.6f, good to soft) 120 days ago. Good showing certainly not ruled out.

Form: 3/12FF5-

Pont Aven⁴⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Paul Townend| T: W P Mullins| OR: 139

9/1

5/1, creditable fourth of 10 in handicap chase at Punchestown (20f) in May, proving a shade too keen. Not ruled out from this sort of mark but sole success over fences came in a maiden back in 2019.

Form: 42PP2-4

Everlastingpromise³⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Darragh O'Keeffe| T: E Bolger| OR: 137| BF| CD

11/2

Landed this race from 12 lb lower mark on back of 6-months off last year. May have needed hurdles return at Downpatrick in June and that should have put him spot on for another crack at this.

Form: 2144/1-7

Le Musigny⁴⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 10-11| J: Mark Walsh| T: H De Bromhead| OR: 134| BF

7/2

Lightly-raced winner under NH rules. Creditable second of 6 in handicap chase at Punchestown (16f, soft, 11/5) 48 days ago. Stable having good spell. Should go well again.

Form: P16/25-2

Raya Time^h¹⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 10-10| J: Sean Flanagan| T: H De Bromhead| OR: 133| CD

6/1

Matched previous best when winning 8-runner novice chase (4/1) at Wexford (16f, good to soft) 14 days ago. Yard in good form. Another bold show likely.

Form: 7332-31

Valdieu³⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 10-8| J: E Walsh⁽⁵⁾| T: N Meade| OR: 131| D

25/1

Respectable fifth of 15 in handicap chase at Roscommon (24.7f, good, 20/1) 38 days ago, his stamina possibly stretched given he'd travelled as well as any. Takes a marked step back in trip now.

Form: 13/P3P-5

Andalusa^t⁴⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-7| J: Brian Hayes| T: W P Mullins| OR: 130| D

22/1

Fell in handicap chase at Punchestown (16f, soft, 6/1) 48 days ago, coming to grief at the fifth. Had previously ran up to best when ffith at that venue in April and she's an each-way player.

Form: 33985-F

Capuccimix^t1⁷⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 10-7| J: Jordan Gainford⁽⁵⁾| T: H De Bromhead| OR: 130

10/1

16/1, bit below form ninth of 19 in handicap chase at Punchestown (16f, good to soft) 78 days ago, undone by his jumping. Now operating from career-low mark but others appeal that little bit more.

Form: 867769-

Zarkareva^t³⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 10-7| J: D Robinson| T: H De Bromhead| OR: 130| D

16/1

Good 7½ lengths second of 12 to Batcio in handicap chase at Wexford (16f, good to soft, 12/1) 30 days ago, keeping on from 2 out. Yard having good spell but she's 2 lb higher now.

Form: 14353-2

Arvico Bleu^t³⁵

Age: 9| Weight: 10-3| J: Mike O'Connor⁽⁷⁾| T: H De Bromhead| OR: 126| D

15/2

10/3, much improved when winning 8-runner novice chase at Clonmel (16.3f, good) 35 days ago, coming in for a good front-running ride. Mark looks workable back in a handicap for all this is tougher.

Form: 4400-21

Batcio³⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: Shane O'Callaghan⁽⁷⁾| T: T M Walsh| OR: 125| D

6/1

8/1, career best when winning 12-runner handicap chase at Wexford (16f, good to soft) 30 days ago by 7½ lengths from Zarkareva, suited by way race developed.

Form: F6/933-1

Forecasts

Le Musigny (7/2), Everlastingpromise (11/2), Batcio (6/1), Raya Time (6/1), Arvico Bleu (15/2), Pont Aven (9/1), Assemble (9/1), Capuccimix (10/1), Zarkareva (16/1), Andalusa (22/1), Valdieu (25/1)

A cracking handicap with Henry de Bromhead holding a strong hand, notably in the shape of RAYA TIME. He put it all together when off the mark in a Wexford maiden 2 weeks ago and this revised mark doesn't look beyond him. Le Musigny and Arvico Bleu head up the dangers, whilst Valdieu could also have a part to play dropping back markedly in trip.
