Irish bumper winner who was a fair performer in this sphere for Neil King. However, he has offered little in 3 starts for new yard since returning from a lengthy absence in May.

Now 6 lb lower than for his latest success in a Southwell handicap hurdle last summer, but it's been pretty much all downhill since and he needs to bounce back in a major way.

Showed ability in a bumper on debut, but his efforts in this sphere to date have been very modest at best. Big step forward required now pitched into a handicap.

Improved when finding just one too good upped to this trip on Ffos Las handicap debut in May. Beaten favourite both starts since, but eased in class now and a bold show could be on the way.

Winless on the Flat following 21 attempts, but struck at the first time of asking over hurdles at Ludlow last February. Decent third at Fontwell (21.8f) latest and each-way shout off 3 lb lower here.

Chase winner in 2019 and finally off the mark in this sphere at Huntingdon in May. Subsequent Uttoxeter display was respectable and he's of strong interest in this lower-grade handicap.

Doubled his tally back from a break on debut for this yard at Southwell in April. Latest effort lacked spark, but eased 2 lb and won't be far away here if he puts his best foot forward.

Two of his 3 career wins have been registered over this C&D, but the most recent was over 4 years ago and he completely misfired in first-time cheekpieces (retained) here recently.

Has struggled since winning a pair of handicaps last summer and it's hard to recommend this 8-y-o at present, for all that he has slipped to a potentially handy mark. Visor refitted.

Much improved since joining this yard, winning back-to-back handicaps at Chepstow and Fontwell prior to hitting the crossbar over this C&D last month. Remains on a feasible mark and he's a big player.

Modest at best on the Flat and will need to step up markedly on what he's shown in 3 starts over hurdles in order to make a winning handicap debut in this sphere.

Winning Irish pointer who belatedly opened his Rules account back over hurdles with cheekpieces refitted at Market Rasen (20.6f) last month. Remains on a fair mark and claims if able to build on that.

Verdict

This should be run at a decent clip and BUCKS DREAM may well be the answer if hurdling with greater fluency than at Hexham last time. He was second to an upwardly mobile rival off this mark on his handicap debut in May and a reproduction of that effort would give him every chance. Kilchreest Moon continued his good run of form when runner-up over C&D last time and is feared most ahead of Bagan.
