Lightly-raced winner and good runner-up efforts at Carlisle last 2 starts. In the mix with a repeat.
Gained breakthrough win in 7f novice event at Redcar but disappointed on handicap bow at Doncaster since. Still early days.
Good second in a 6f Thirsk handicap on his reappearance but disappointed back in maiden company at Redcar. Return to 7f will at least suit.
Twice a winner at 2 yrs but has struggled in handicaps this season and still looks high enough in the weights. Blinkers on 1st time.
Similar form in novices all 3 starts, making the most of a good opportunity at Wolverhampton last time. Remains unexposed going into handicaps.
Fair 6f winner in 2020 and made a respectable return when fourth at Thirsk last month. Entitled to come on for that.
Runner-up twice over 6f as a juvenile but ran poorly on his Thirsk handicap debut/reappearance 62 days ago. Steps up to 7f for the first time now.
Winner at Wetherby in April. Best effort yet when runner-up at Hamilton (8.3f) last time and worth another try at 7f. Respected.
Posted a career best when winning 16-runner handicap at Redcar (7f, good). Excuses at Newcastle since (pulled hard) so not taken lightly.
Fair form when runner-up 4 times in novices this season and opening mark looks a fair one. Back up in trip.
Winner at Southwell in January. Shaped as if still in good form when sixth in handicap at Beverley (5f, good to firm, 5/2) 17 days ago, not clear run. Significantly back up in trip and headgear on.

Forecasts
Candescence (9/4), Wizard D'Amour (11/4), Outrun The Storm (11/2), Cosmos Raj (11/2), Blowing Wind (16/1), Marve (16/1), Tanfantic (22/1), Mabdaa (22/1), Diamondonthehill (25/1), As If By Chance (28/1), Twilight Prince (33/1)
COSMOS RAJ shaped as if worth another try at this trip when a good second at Hamilton so could be the answer off a fair-looking mark. Candescence was a good second off this mark at Carlisle last week and is a player with a repeat, while novice-winner Wizard d'Amour arguably has the most potential after just 3 career starts.
- COSMOS RAJ
- CANDESCENCE
- WIZARD D'AMOUR
