Once-raced maiden. 22/1, fifth of 9 in minor event at Newbury (8f, good to firm) on debut 26 days ago, not knocked about. That experience won't be wasted on her and there should be better to come.

Forecasts

Sea Oscar (13/8), Miss Scaletta (11/4), Raise The Roof (4/1), Loving Dash (4/1), Hamhama (12/1), Persuasive Powers (20/1), Taurean Emerald (80/1), Sovereign Point (250/1), Wynyard Icon (300/1), Happy Go Lottie (300/1)

Verdict

SEA OSCAR made a promising start to her career when beaten 1¾ lengths into sixth in the 1m Goodwood novice won by Miss Scaletta. The Sea The Stars filly wasn't knocked about that day and, now 7 lb better off with Ed Walker's charge and likely to relish this stiffer test, she is taken to come out on top here. Loving Dash, a clear second at Salisbury last time, and Raise The Roof are big dangers.

  1. SEA OSCAR
  2. LOVING DASH
  3. RAISE THE ROOF (IRE)
