Confirmed debut promise when off the mark at Thirsk (5f) in May. Possible softer ground has caught hhim out since and return to calmer waters/faster conditions both positives.
Foaled January 25. £68,000 yearling, Cotai Glory colt. Dam maiden (stayed 7f). Yard adept at readying a newcomer and respected, particularly if strong in betting.
Dandy Man colt. Proved easy to back but showed some ability when sixth in 9-runner Chester maiden (5f) 9 days ago. Rates a likely improver with that under his belt.
Twice-raced maiden. Sixth of 8 in minor event (40/1) at Newcastle (5f) 9 days ago, challenging 2f out but hanging badly left and not recover. May yet do better moving forward.
Once-raced maiden. Proved very green when last of 5 in minor event at this C&D (good to firm, 25/1) on debut 79 days ago. Given a break since and this should reveal more.
Guitaifan colt. 25/1, Showed a bit despite finishing last of 4 in minor event at Windsor (5.1f, good to firm) on debut 21 days ago. Should have more to offer.
Thrice-raced maiden. 125/1, fifth of 12 in minor event at Lingfield (5f, soft) 7 days ago, making late headway. Looks the type to do better in low-grade nurseries.
Thrice-raced maiden. 8/1, fifth of 6 in minor event at Bath (5f, soft) 45 days ago, hampered. Needs to bounce back equipped with first-time cheekpieces.
£70,000 yearling, Dandy Man brother to 6f winner Showed a bit when sixth of 9 in maiden (12/1) at Newbury (5.2f, good) on debut 80 days ago and he may well have derived plenty from that.
Foaled February 18. 50,000 gns yearling, Showcasing colt. Dam, 2-y-o 5f winner, half-sister to smart 1m winner Dan. Yard saddled a winning newcomer recently and one to note if strong in betting.

Forecasts
Chimgan (9/4), So Smart (11/4), Hotline Bling (5/1), Swayze (15/2), Glamorous Express (11/1), Showdiemlad (11/1), Cotai Grey (12/1), Contactless (28/1), National Star (50/1), Devon Envoy (80/1)
Those with previous form don't set a tall standard and it may pay to take a chance on newcomer CHIMGAN. He makes appeal on paper for a yard more than capable of readying a newcomer and a good showing may well be on the cards. So Smart may come on for his Newbury debut effort and is feared, ahead of newcomer Swayze and the experienced Hotline Bling.
