Benefited from a step up in trip when landing a 4-runner event at Lingfield, but found stamina stretched over 14.5f at Doncaster last time. Remains with potential back at this distance.
|
Hadn't shown a great deal in 3 starts previously but left those efforts behind to make a winning handicap debut at Leicester, then improved further when second at this course last time. Solid claims.
|
Ayr maiden winner on second start in July and firmly back on track when runner-up at Newcastle last time. Longer trip could bring more out of him, so he warrants consideration.
|
Lightly-raced type who has achieved a fairly useful level of form to date and doesn't appear to have been overburdened with his opening mark. Interesting in first-time cheekpieces.
|
Steadily progressive in novice company and sizeable step forward when third of 10 on handicap debut at York (11.8f, good), sticking to his task well. Open to further improvement.

Forecasts
Chalk Stream (5/4), Doctor Parnassus (3/1), Chase The Dollar (4/1), Albert Camus (13/2), Geremia (14/1)
CHALK STREAM was denied only by a progressive type having failed to settle at this course last time and, with more to come up in trip, he makes plenty of appeal in his bid to regain the winning thread. The rest can all have a case made for them, but Doctor Parnassus and Albert Camus look the most formidable opponents.
- CHALK STREAM
- DOCTOR PARNASSUS (IRE)
- ALBERT CAMUS
