Master Artist⁶¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Ben Godfrey⁽⁵⁾| T: Henry Oliver| OR: 117| D

4/7

Off the mark for John Kiely in a big-field handicap hurdle at Cork in April. Below par next 2 starts, but should prove hard to beat on these terms on debut for new yard.

Form: 067170-

Buckskin^t1¹²

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: Shane Quinlan⁽⁵⁾| T: Katy Price| OR: 71

28/1

Showed ability in bumpers, but efforts in this sphere to date have left much to be desired. Tongue strap applied.

Form: 0905-PP

Guns For Hire^p1⁴⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: Conor Ring⁽³⁾| T: Evan Williams| OR: 92

7/1

Yet to trouble the judge over hurdles, but he wasn't entirely disgraced at Worcester last time and good each-way chance down in grade here if the first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect.

Form: 6684U-5

Hard Toffee¹⁴⁴

Age: 10| Weight: 10-12| J: Fergus Gregory⁽³⁾| T: L Allan

80/1

Four-time winner on the Flat, but most recent efforts in that sphere have lacked spark and he failed to complete on hurdles debut at Huntingdon in November.

Form: 0666/F-

Ingenuity^b⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: Patrick Cowley⁽³⁾| T: B Barr| OR: 85

22/1

Remains winless over hurdles following 12 attempts and hard to warm to on the back of a very-low key effort at Worcester 8 days ago.

Form: 47680-9

Out By Six^p1,t²⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: Benjamin Poste| T: R Potter| OR: 74

50/1

Little to shout about so far and hopes very much pinned on the application of cheekpieces working the oracle.

Form: 95P9-57

Twice The Mustard^t1⁵⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 10-12| J: Mr G Barfoot-Saunt| T: Mrs Tracey Barfoot-Saunt

300/1

Well held in jumpers bumper/pair of maiden hurdles and now tried in a tongue strap.

Form: 0/6-5

Numberoneson¹⁶⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: D A Jacob| T: H Whittington

12/1

Fairly useful Flat winner for Joseph O'Brien in Ireland. No show in 3 starts over hurdles to date, but worth a second look in the betting dropped in grade.

Form: 60P-

Dolly McQueen²⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 10-5| J: Liam Harrison⁽⁵⁾| T: F O'Brien| OR: 86

7/2

Modest winner at 11f on Flat. Bettered previous efforts in this sphere when fifth of 13 over 20.4f here last time and she's a strong each-way candidate.

Form: 6766-5

Forecasts

Master Artist (4/7), Dolly McQueen (7/2), Guns For Hire (7/1), Numberoneson (12/1), Ingenuity (22/1), Buckskin (28/1), Out By Six (50/1), Hard Toffee (80/1), Twice The Mustard (300/1)

If able to reproduce something akin to the form of his Cork success in April, MASTER ARTIST should prove very hard to beat at this level on debut for new yard. Dolly McQueen and Guns For Hire can fill the places.
