Improved to win 8-runner handicap at Newcastle (12.5f) in November but hasn't made the expected progress in 2 outings this term. A tongue strap needs to help revive her fortunes.

9/2

Fit from hurdling, didn't need to be at best when winning 7-runner seller at Leicester (10f, good, 9/4) 26 days ago. More on plate back in a handicap but still respected.

Form: 14/276-1

Casilli²⁸

11/10

Largely progressive profile in handicaps, kicking off 2021 with wins at Beverley and Ripon. Possible latest below-form fourth at Beverley was merely a blip and that she'll get back on the up now.

Form: 315-114

(8)

Sobriquet¹⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 9-3| J: Elisha Whittington⁽⁵⁾| T: E De Giles| OR: 66

9/1

Missed all of 2020 but wasn't beaten that far when last of 8 in Sandown maiden over this trip on return. Handicap debut.

Form: 72/8

Fashion Free^h¹⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 8-13| J: Frederick Larson⁽⁷⁾| T: M Appleby| OR: 62

9/1

Good return to turf when close third at Yarmouth (1m) 17 days ago, keeping on after typically slow start. Has done majority of racing at up to 1m but leaves impression this trip could be within range.

Form: 034203

Age: 4| Weight: 8-11| J: Daniel Muscutt| T: Sarah Hollinshead| OR: 60

8/1

Career best when winning 9.5f Wolverhampton handicap last month and performed with credit when fourth back there 18 days ago. Has been well held both previous attempts on turf, though.

Form: 923014

Stand Free^h³²

Age: 4| Weight: 8-11| J: J P Sullivan| T: Suzzanne France| OR: 60

Successful over 1m at Newcastle last November but well held on reappearance there 32 days ago. Will need to have come on a fair for the run now having just her second outing on turf.

Forecasts

Casilli (11/10), Lady Reset (9/2), Diamond Jill (8/1), Exhalation (8/1), Golden Hind (17/2), Sobriquet (9/1), Fashion Free (9/1), Stand Free (22/1)

This may represent a decent opportunity for CASILLI to get straight back on track after a slightly lesser effort at Beverley last time. Fashion Free looks worth a go over this sort of trip and may provide the chief threat ahead of Leicester seller winner Lady Reset.
