Notched 4 AW wins for this yard over the winter. Below form last two starts, though, looking a hard ride back from a break at Lingfield 17 days ago.

Opened her account at Kempton in November and returned with a couple of solid efforts to hit the frame, runner-up at Goodwood a week ago. Should be on the premises again.

Lightly raced and, having opened her account in comfortable style at Windsor (maiden) last month, she shaped as if still in good form (travelled best) at Salisbury last time. Worth another chance.

Fair mare who has left Mick Appleby since landing a claimer at Wolverhampton 3 months ago. More on her plate back in handicap company.

Career best when winning 4-runner handicap at Brighton in April, and, while she followed it with a disappointing showing at Wolverhampton, she can't be completely written off returned to turf.

Positive debut for current stable when runner-up at Bath, then best excused (not clear run) her sole subsequent effort at that track. Not discounted from fair mark.

Forecasts

Colombe (13/8), Liberty Bay (7/4), Twelve Diamonds (4/1), Electric Love (5/1), The Nosey Parker (6/1), Lady Quickstep (10/1), Aish (12/1), Passional (16/1), Lorna Cole (22/1)

Verdict

Following an impressive return, COLOMBE found little having travelled best at Salisbury late last month but that's best treated as a blip as she has the talent to prove much better than a mark of 69. She'll be hard to beat if she can see this out more thoroughly, so she takes preference over the in-form Liberty Bay, while Electric Love shouldn't be ruled out on handicap bow.

  1. COLOMBE (IRE)
  2. LIBERTY BAY
  3. ELECTRIC LOVE
