Off time: 15:08 | Winning time: 3m 11.89s

(2)

Dancing King⁴²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: F Norton| T: C & M Johnston| OR: 94

5/1

In rampant mood since returning this year and arrives on four-timer after making all comfortably at Leicester 42 days ago. Solid claims, particularly if left alone in front.

Form: 073-111

(6)

Kondo Isami²²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-1| J: P J McDonald| T: C & M Johnston| OR: 88

5/4

Progressive sort who displayed a good attitude to see off subsequent winner Tashkhan at York on reappearance. Bound to be suited by another step up in trip, so should take the beating.

Form: 231-1

(1)

Albert Camus^h³⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 8-12| J: R Havlin| T: J & T Gosden| OR: 85

8/1

Lightly-raced colt who benefited from a step up in trip when landing a 4-runner event at Lingfield last time. Goes up further in distance, but others are more progressive.

Form: 54-1361

(3)

Olympic Theatre⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 8-10| J: Dylan Hogan⁽³⁾| T: M L W Bell| OR: 83

11/1

Mayson gelding who has improved for a step up in distance recently, forging clear to complete a double at Haydock last week. Will stay this far, so looks a player once more.

Form: 24-2511

(4)

Reverend Hubert²³

Age: 3| Weight: 8-6| J: S Hitchcott| T: R Hannon| OR: 79

13/2

Off the mark at the fourth attempt in 14-runner handicap at Salisbury and that's unlikely to prove his limit. Bred to go on improving but this is tougher.

Form: 84-31

(7)

Alpine Stroll²²

Age: 3| Weight: 8-5| J: Elisha Whittington⁽⁵⁾| T: E De Giles| OR: 78

8/1

Has improved since switched to handicaps, but latest second at Newbury doesn't suggest he has as much in hand as some of these rivals.

Form: 2-4732

(5)

Silver Shade¹⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 8-0| J: L Morris| T: C & M Johnston| OR: 73

18/1

Doubled career tally when bolting up in a match race at Southwell (12f) in April and posted a creditable second at Sandown recently. Vulnerable to better-treated rivals.

Form: 88-2112

Forecasts

Kondo Isami (5/4), Dancing King (5/1), Reverend Hubert (13/2), Albert Camus (8/1), Alpine Stroll (8/1), Olympic Theatre (11/1), Silver Shade (18/1)

KONDO ISAMI's York success has received a huge boost subsequently and, with more to come from this well-bred colt, he's fancied to get the better of his stablemate Dancing King in a tightly-knit affair. Olympic Theatre is another one to note.
