Sense Of Adventure¹²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Shane Quinlan⁽⁵⁾| T: L Allan| OR: 100

80/1

Modest maiden hurdler for Dan Skelton. Offered little on chasing bow/sole run for John Whyte and fared no better back hurdling for another new yard last time. Lots to prove.

Form: 73P-548

Raddle And Hum^h¹²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: Miss Becky Smith⁽³⁾| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 94

4/1

Took a step back in the right direction after 11 weeks off/breathing operation when third at in 2½m Fakenham handicap 12 days ago. Potentially on a good mark if able to build on that.

Form: 46/9BP-3

Cast In Grey²⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 10-11| J: Kielan Woods| T: D Killahena & G McPherson| OR: 85

12/1

Placed in bumpers but has yet to fire over hurdles, again showing little after 9 months off at Bangor last time.

Form: 803/77-6

Andapa^p³⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 10-11| J: T J O'Brien| T: M Roberts| OR: 85

15/2

Fairly useful dual bumper winner but largely disappointing over hurdles, including in first-time cheekpieces at Fontwell last time. On the upside, her mark continues to fall.

Form: 83/258-9

Passing Secrets^t⁵²

Age: 5| Weight: 10-10| J: James Best| T: T R Gretton| OR: 84

22/1

Sent off big prices when well held all 3 starts over hurdles but at least gets a crack at handicaps now up in trip.

Form: 840-

Abington Park^v²⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 10-5| J: Joe Williamson⁽⁵⁾| T: P A Kirby| OR: 79

13/2

Maiden who was placed on his second handicap start at Uttoxeter (19,9f) 20 days ago, though it was a far from encouraging display having been off the bridle a long way out.

Form: 5/6987-3

Glacier Fox¹⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-5| J: Miss H C Tucker⁽⁷⁾| T: M C Chapman| OR: 79

80/1

Of little account on the Flat nowadays and has yet to offer much over hurdles. Back up in trip.

Form: 875-77

Getaway Bay⁹⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: Alexander Fielding⁽⁷⁾| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR: 76

10/1

Maiden Irish pointer who showed a bit more than previously sent handicapping after 4 months off when fourth at Catterick (19.3f) in March. Remains to be seen if he's able to build on that.

Form: 2PP/904-

Inexorable^b¹²⁶

Age: 8| Weight: 10-0| J: Alexander Thorne⁽⁵⁾| T: Olly Williams| OR: 70

50/1

In frame twice in bumpers but no solid form over hurdles. Back up in trip after a break.

Form: P06PU0-

Non-Runners

On The Platform²⁰

Weight: 11-4| Age: 5

T: J Groucott J: Lee Edwards

Forecasts

Bowser (6/5), On The Platform (3/1), Raddle And Hum (4/1), Abington Park (13/2), Andapa (15/2), Getaway Bay (10/1), Cast In Grey (12/1), Passing Secrets (22/1), Inexorable (50/1), Glacier Fox (80/1), Sense Of Adventure (80/1)

ON THE PLATFORM made his second handicap start a winning one at Bangor last month and remains unexposed, so a 4 lb rise shouldn’t prevent another bold bid. Bowser opened his account in ready fashion at this course 15 days ago and looks capable of improving again now he's up and running. Raddle And Hum completes the shortlist after taking a big step back in the right direction at Fakenham.
