7/2

Scored at Warwick in April and found only one too good in his follow-up bid at Stratford 18 days later. Another bold bid on the cards.

Form: F3921-2

Tardree^h,t²⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Adam Wedge| T: L Morgan| OR: 110

11/8

Point winner who landed a Sedgefield bumper on second start under Rules. Improved on hurdling debut when third in novice at Market Rasen and looks significant that he makes an early switch to fences.

Form: F1/214-3

Zuckerberg²³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-10| J: Sean Quinlan| T: J Candlish| OR: 108| D

7/1

Fairly useful hurdler/chaser in France. Has dropped in the weights and produced comfortably his most encouraging display for current connections when third at Sedgefield last time. One to consider.

Form: P4704-3

Chez Hans^b¹⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 10-13| J: R P McLernon| T: M Scudamore| OR: 97

16/1

Fortunate winner of maiden hurdle at Leicester (20.5f) in 2018. Very lightly raced since, including for new yard, and latest fifth in a handicap chase at Stratford doesn't inspire much confidence.

Form: P6/9PU-5

Twycross Warrior²⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 10-10| J: J M Quinlan| T: R Dickin| OR: 94| CD

6/1

Consistent hurdler who was fourth in a handicap at Southwell last time and warrants respect on his first crack at chasing.

Form: 4242/2-4

Cawthorne^h,t²³

Age: 7| Weight: 10-10| J: Henry Brooke| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 94| D

11/2

Modest hurdler/chaser who returned to this sphere with a highly impressive success at Sedgefield 23 days ago. Has been hit hard for that but can't be ruled out.

Form: PF136-1

Forecasts

Tardree (11/8), Larch Hill (7/2), Cawthorne (11/2), Twycross Warrior (6/1), Zuckerberg (7/1), Chez Hans (16/1)

TARDREE's recent third in a novice hurdle is proving solid form and, given his pointing background, it's interesting that he makes a quick switch to fences off an opening mark that seems potentially lenient. He gets the nod, although in-form pair Cawthorne and Larch Hill could provide stern opposition, while Zuckerberg is too well handicapped to dismiss.
