Bucko's Boy³⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: Page Fuller| T: Jamie Snowden| OR: 116| D

11/2

Bumper winner who kept the mistakes down when scoring on his first completed start over hurdles at Fakenham a month ago. May have more to offer in handicaps.

Form: 4/13UF-1

Speredek¹⁵²

Age: 10| Weight: 11-8| J: B S Hughes| T: N J Hawke| OR: 116

16/1

One-time smart performer but tumbled in the weights over both sets of obstacles without cashing in of late. Took a heavy fall when last seen over fences in January and others look safer.

Form: 64054F-

Saint Arvans^t²¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: Ross Chapman| T: M A Barnes| OR: 114

5/1

Career best when scoring on handicap debut at Kelso (2m) in December. Unable to build on that in 3 starts sine but did confirm stamina for this sort of trip when third at Perth 3 weeks ago.

Form: 15144-3

Diamond Fort⁶³

Age: 9| Weight: 11-5| J: P J Brennan| T: F O'Brien| OR: 113| D

17/2

Is well over 3 years without a win but hinted at a revival here in March. Failed to build on that at Wetherby since and others are more persuasive.

Form: 3/56P76-

Gateway To Europe^v1³³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: Bryony Le Clerc| T: N B King| OR: 113

7/1

Creditable fifth in a 12-runner handicap hurdle at Wincanton when returning from a break in April. Doesn't really look a chaser, so latest run over larger obstacles perhaps best forgiven. Visored.

Form: 33365-P

Ernesto^p,t⁴²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: R T Dunne| T: Ian Williams| OR: 113

4/1

Useful on Flat in Germany (stays 1¾m) and well placed to get off the mark over hurdles in a 4-runner maiden at Exeter in April. May have more to offer now he's up and running.

Form: 903241-

Prabeni⁵³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Harry Bannister| T: A M Hales| OR: 112

10/3

Back to winning ways in Fontwell handicap hurdle in the mud in August. Ended time for Charlie Mann in disappointing fashion but back on that mark and he's of interest.

Form: 413P7P-

Diodorus^p⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Reed| T: T Davidson| OR: 108

8/1

Fair Flat winner who landed a novice hurdle at Wetherby in March 2020. Last season was disappointing and he failed to beat a rival on the level last week. Cheekpieces on.

Form: 224475-

Forecasts

Prabeni (10/3), Ernesto (4/1), Saint Arvans (5/1), Bucko's Boy (11/2), Gateway To Europe (7/1), Diodorus (8/1), Diamond Fort (17/2), Speredek (16/1)

PRABENI ended last season in disappointing fashion for Charlie Mann but there is cause for optimism as he starts out for an in-form yard on his last winning mark. Bucko's Boy could have more to offer in handicaps, while Ernesto is still well treated on his Flat form and drying ground may help his cause.
