Finished runner-up completed start in points and good start under Rules when landing a Hexham mares' novice (2m) earlier his month. More on her plate under a penalty but she's open to improvement.

Shaped like a stayer when fifth in a 10-runner Carlisle bumper in March but not in same form at Hexham (2m) earlier this month. Tongue tie reached for on hurdles bow but likely best watched.

Better with each start in mares' novice hurdles so shade disappointing she's failed to make an impact in handicaps at Newcastle/Bangor subsequently. Bounce back not ruled out on back of a wind op.

Modest Flat winner for Heather Main. Showed a bit on yard/hurdles debut when fifth in a Sedgefield novice (16.8f) in November but below par under both codes since.

Fair maiden on the Flat in Ireland in 2018 but has yet to better poor form over hurdles and well beaten on the level more recently. Blinkers now the headgear of choice.

Long-standing maiden on the Flat but she did shape quite well when fourth in a Bangor maiden hurdle (16.6f) 16 days ago, plenty to do 3 out but nearest at the finish. May do better.

Presenting mare out of smart 2½m-3m hurdle winner. Definite promise when second in a Tipperary bumper (18f) in March and, having been acquired for £45,000 since, she's very interesting now hurdling.

Not a particularly strong event and it may pay to side with hurdles debutante SOMEWHAT CLOUDY. There was definite promise to glean from her Tipperary bumper second on debut in March (conceded 12 lb to the winner) and she's the type to make her mark as a hurdler (out of a smart 2½m-3m winner). Hexham scorer Gentle Jolie and Kitty Hall head up the dangers, in that order.
