Successful debut in Chelmsford maiden over this trip in November. Much better for run when fourth of 6 in novice (3/1) at Newmarket (10f, good to firm) 40 days ago. Cheekpieces go on. More to come.

Forecasts

Daramethos (11/8), Irish Legend (3/1), Portfolio (4/1), Malhoob (15/2), Chase The Dollar (11/1), Innse Gall (40/1)

Verdict

Some promising well-bred 3-y-os, not least DARAMETHOS, who could come on a ton for last month's Newmarket reappearance. A winner on debut at Chelmsford in November, he has an entry in the King Edward VII at Royal Ascot and could be much better than a mark of 85. There is likely plenty more to come from Malhoob and Portfolio also.

  1. DARAMETHOS (IRE)
  2. MALHOOB (USA)
  3. PORTFOLIO (JPN)
