Forecasts

The Tide Turns (13/8), Pride Of England (3/1), Arthur's Angel (4/1), Rain Gauge (6/1), Eagles Dare (8/1), Fascinating Shadow (12/1)

Verdict

This is tougher than the Wolverhampton race in which THE TIDE TURNS made a winning handicap debut on his reappearance last week. However, he did the job in decisive fashion and will take plenty of stopping under a penalty, given that further improvement is pretty much assured. Handicap-debutant Pride of England turned over a Godolphin hotpot here last time and is second choice ahead of Rain Gauge.

  1. THE TIDE TURNS
  2. PRIDE OF ENGLAND
  3. RAIN GAUGE (IRE)
