Went close on return in 7f Newcastle handicap (clear of the rest) in March. Subsequently gelded and excuses next time at Lingfield, but looks vulnerable nonetheless back in novice company.

Good pedigree and showed plenty to work on when third behind a couple of experienced rivals on debut at Lingfield (1m, AW). Improvement on the cards and should make his presence felt.

Sent off at 80/1 and nearer last than first on last month's debut at Yarmouth.

Shaped well both start at 2 yrs, fifth in a 12-runner Kempton novice (1m) when last seen in November. Hood enlisted for this reappearance and no surprise if he's in the shake-up.

Recent debut at Windsor (1m, good) was not devoid of promise, albeit he didn't impress with his high head carriage and some of these arguably possess greater potential.

Signs of ability on sole 2-y-o start and gelded ahead of his improved reappearance third at Newbury (7f, good to soft) 8 days ago. Should pick up a race soon enough if able to build on that.

Failed to make much of an impact in 2 starts as a juvenile and this filly is probably more one for handicaps further down the line.

€500,000 Frankel filly who was strong in betting but ultimately proved too green when seventh of 10 in a Kempton novice (7f) in October. Likely to leave that form well behind in time.

BILHAYL failed to justify favouritism on debut at Kempton, but that experience won't be wasted on him and there should be better to come from this well-bred colt. He gets the nod ahead of Frantoio, who showed ability as a juvenile and appeals as the type to make up into a better 3-y-o. Almoshahar also made a promising start to his career on the all-weather and is best of the rest.
