Still in contention when coming down 3 out at Kempton (20.5f, good) last month. Races off same mark here and merits consideration. Cheekpieces on first time.
Fair hurdler/chaser who doubled his tally over smaller obstacles when landing a Leicester handicap in December. Creditable third in seller at Stratford last time, so not discounted back over fences.
Fair hurdler who struck at the second time of asking over fences at Market Rasen in November but disappointed subsequently. Back from a break, now.
Very useful chaser in his pomp, but not the force of old and most recent efforts have left much to be desired.

ARMATTIEKAN had a terrific time of it last season and found only the improving Dog of War too good over C&D last time, so he's taken to get his head back in front. Generation Gap is a danger on the back of his Exeter success and Rebel Royal looked threatening when coming down 3 out at Kempton last month, so he can't be ruled out.
