Found plenty to land Summer Cup over 26f at Uttoxeter and followed up over C&D. Failed to complete on 3 of next 4 starts but shaped as if back in form when third at Uttoxeter 2 weeks ago.
Not the easiest to catch right but does arrive on the back of a veterans' chase win at Newbury in March. Up 6 lb back in a conventional handicap but he did idle that day.
Has shown some quirks but proved better than ever when scoring on Ascot reappearance in November. Disappointed at Ascot next time but back on track when third at Kempton, not seen to best effect.
Useful winning hurdler/chaser but lightly raced nowadays. Made light of 17-month absence when second in Exeter handicap hurdle and excuses both starts since. Respected back down in class.
Useful chaser who enjoyed a good 2020/21 enhancing record in veterans' events at Fakenham (3m) in March. Not ruled out but he does encounter much quicker conditions here.
Smart chaser for Nicky Henderson and did well for this yard last season, winning jumpers bumper and creditable tenth of 26 in Coral Cup at Cheltenham. Might have found Aintree coming too soon.
Off the mark at third attempt over fences at Ludlow and runner-up at Newbury next time. Disappointed next 2 starts but back to form at Kempton 11 days ago, most unlucky not to win. Can make amends.
Durable sort who's clearly thriving at present, improving again to score at Kelso 9 days ago. However, a 7 lb penalty in much better race make him opposable.

VERSATILITY returned to form from out of the blue at Kempton 11 days ago and was most unlucky not to win, in control when stumbled and unseated soon after the last, and he's taken to make amends off the same mark. Johnbb is the obvious threat having finished a good second in a Grade 3 handicap over C&D last month.
