Bounced back to form when runner-up at Southwell (2m, good) a week ago. Looks well handicapped off the same mark.
Failed to make a significant impact in handicaps last term but has dipped to a mark in the 90s for the first time ahead of this reappearance after over 5 months off.
Still looking for first success. Found some improvement when second of 10 in Kelso handicap last month but failed to back it up when well behind Authorizo at Southwell last week.
Made winning chase debut at Wetherby (2m) in March. Respectable fifth over hurdles here 8 days later and now back over the smaller obstacles again after below-par run over fences last time.
Landed back-to-back handicap hurdles at Catterick in early 2020. Not matched that since but mark has come down and it's possible wind surgery could spark a revival.
Dual 2m hurdle winner in 2018 but has largely offered little since, including low-grade Flat handicaps in recent weeks. Claims aren't obvious.
Fair stayer on the Flat for David Simcock. Low-key start for this yard, including hurdle debut in March. Hopes pinned on a recent wind op making a difference.
Temperamental sort who won novice handicap chase at Market Rasen in July 2019. Well held all completed starts over fences last autumn and now reverts to hurdles after 168 days off.
Did win over C&D in spring 2019 but this veteran hasn't got seriously competitive since.

Forecasts
Authorizo (6/5), Follow Your Fire (6/1), Summer Lightening (6/1), Two Blondes (13/2), Monash (10/1), Highland Sky (11/1), Strong Team (12/1), First Of Never (80/1), Mac Cennetig (80/1)
AUTHORIZO is the call after his good second off the same mark last week, although a market move for Summer Lightening would make her a dangerous opponent as she is well treated if deriving any benefit from recent wind surgery. Two Blondes could also get involved if primed after wind surgery.
- AUTHORIZO (FR)
- SUMMER LIGHTENING
- TWO BLONDES (IRE)
