€68,000 3-y-o. Half-brother to ungenuine but fairly useful hurdler Castletown and fair chaser D'bru Na Boinne. Beaten a fair way when fourth on sole start between the flags in March.

Placed both starts in bumpers, but fell at the first on hurdles debut in August and well beaten at Fontwell the following month. Has undergone wind surgery ahead of this return/debut for new yard.

Stepped up on inauspicious debut when fourth in a 6-runner Southwell novice at the end of March. Another step forward will be needed if he's to play a leading role here.

Useful handicapper on the Flat and didn't shape badly on hurdles debut for new yard at Ascot in March. Failed to progress at Kempton next time, though, and he probably needs a stiffer test.

Point winner who landed a Sedgefield bumper on second start under Rules. Hurdles debut at Catterick (19.3f, soft) in December wasn't devoid of promise and should do better back on better ground here.

Fair maiden on the Flat and showed a bit more at second attempt in this sphere when sixth of 11 in 2m Wetherby maiden last month. Still, he's another who will probably do better in handicaps later on.

Having undergone a wind operation, GOLD LINK left his previous hurdles form well behind when runner-up at Wincanton in March and further progress is highly likely. He is marginally preferred to bumper winner Restandbethankful, who chased home a Nicky Henderson-trained hotpot on his hurdles debut at Newbury. Tardree makes each-way appeal and is third choice ahead of Seinesational.
