Creditable third in 2m handicap at the Curragh on latest start in this sphere in June 2018. However, hasn't shown enough over hurdles for new yard in recent months to make him of interest here.

Rejuvenated in cheekpieces towards end of 2020, readily scoring at Ayr before creditable efforts at Doncaster. Predictably well held in listed company on return last month and this is more realistic.

Step back in right direction upped to 1¾m ar Bath last time, accounting for his two rivals with minimum fuss. 4 lb rise fair enough, but he wouldn't want the word 'soft' in the going description.

Has failed to add to 2-y-o debut success, but proved reliable in handicaps last term and shaped as though in need of the run on Newbury reappearance 3 weeks ago. 2 lb lower now and worth considering.

Placed all 3 starts in novice company at up to 1¾m last season, but Wolverhampton reappearance was rather disappointing. Needs to get back on track now pitched into a handicap.

Well held both starts in this sphere in 2020, but did the job well over hurdles at Doncaster in March. Couldn't rule out off a fair mark back on the Flat, for all that he's not one for maximum faith.

Has acquitted himself well in 4 handicaps on the AW since returning from a 2-year absence in February. However, he's 0-10 on turf and further rain would not aid his cause. Cheekpieces refitted.

Good record on the AW, winning twice and placed 9 times from 17 starts on artificial surfaces. It's been a while since he last showed worthwhile form on turf, though.

Preference is for HIROSHIMA, who was a fine fifth off this mark in the November Handicap at Doncaster on his final run of last term. He should be cherry-ripe following his reappearance at Nottingham (flying too high in what was a strong listed race) and the forecast slower ground here will help, too. Dancing Harry should also come on for his reappearance and is next best ahead of Ginistrelli.
