Rookie Trainer^t⁴⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-11| J: Liam Harrison| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 119| CD

10/3

Point winner who opened account in this sphere over C&D in October. Found little upped to 25f at Pumpton last time (first run following a wind op), but couldn't rule out back at this trip.

Form: 62/1042-

Nikki Steel¹²

Age: 11| Weight: 11-8| J: Conor Ring| T: D Bourne| OR: 116

17/2

Fair chaser for Dr Richard Newland and caused a surprise when making a winning debut for this yard in a Chepstow handicap hurdle (2m, good) back from a 22-month layoff. Claims despite 7 lb rise.

Form: 43U43/1-

Whatthebutlersaw²³

Age: 12| Weight: 11-4| J: Mr Ben Ffrench Davis⁽⁵⁾| T: D J S Ffrench Davis| OR: 112| CD

9/1

Without a win since August 2018 but has returned to form the last twice, latterly finding just one too good at Huntingdon (20.7f, good). Remains on an attractive mark and this 12-y-o merits respect.

Form: 568632-

Percy Street^b,t²⁰²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Fergus Gillard⁽³⁾| T: D Pipe| OR: 110

13/2

It's been around 2 years since he last hit the target and this ungenuine type is opposable back from a 6-month break.

Form: 272066-

Glasha's Peak⁶⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Ben Jones⁽³⁾| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 108

14/1

Shaped pretty well when third over this C&D on debut for new yard in December. Excuses at Huntingdon next time and while a sizeable step forward is needed, she may do better now handicapping.

Form: 45P/38-

Mystic Court¹⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 10-12| J: Jordan Nailor| T: Nick Mitchell| OR: 106| D

9/4

Right back to form for new yard the last twice, landing handicaps at Newton Abbot (21.5f) and Taunton (19f) in good style. However, another personal best is required off this revised mark.

Forecasts

Mystic Court (9/4), Rookie Trainer (10/3), Alrightjack (9/2), Percy Street (13/2), Distingo (7/1), Nikki Steel (17/2), Whatthebutlersaw (9/1), Glasha's Peak (14/1)

This looks tricky. A chance is taken on ALRIGHTJACK, who has undergone a third wind operation since his latest start in January and returns to this sphere on a potentially handy mark. Distingo lost no caste in defeat when chasing home a progressive type here last time and is next on the list ahead of Chepstow comeback winner Nikki Steel.
