Useful chaser at his best. Step back in the right direction at Ludlow last time. Stamina an unknown but he's more than capable off this mark if able to build on latest run.

Back to winning ways at Taunton in March but let down by his jumping when well held in a deeper race at Haydock since.

Winner of just one of his 16 starts over fences, but he's nothing if not consistent and was placed again back from a break at Uttoxeter last month. Respected.

Fairly useful from over fences for Tom Symonds last year. Off 6 months, shaped as if needing outing when fourth over hurdles at Newton Abbot 31 days ago. On a feasible mark back chasing.

Fair hurdle winner. Just as good in defeat over fences last season but ended it with a disappointing run at Warwick in March, folding tamely. Different headgear tried on return.

Improved performer fitted with cheekpieces, winning at Exeter last in November. Good efforts in defeat since and high on the shortlist.

Fairly useful chaser at his best who left a trio of non-completions in his wake to get back to winning ways over 3m here in March. A 5 lb rise proved enough to find him out at Chepstow since.

Positive start for this yard, winning twice this spring. Up 8 lb in a stronger race now but he does leave the impression this sort of trip could suit him. On the shortlist.

Bagged an Exeter handicap over this sort of trip in December. Not disgraced from out of the handicap in Devon National back there last time. Could have a say if on a going day.

Gained breakthrough win in C&D handicap in November. No chance from miles out of handicap in Eider next time and back on song with Plumpton success in cheekpieces (retained) latest.

Back-to-back winner of handicap chases at Ffos Las (3m) last autumn and got his head back in front at Warwick 23 days ago. On a career-high mark but does arrive at the top of his game.

Career best when winning 5-runner handicap chase at Wincanton (25f, good, 5/1) 16 days ago, cruising clear. 6 lb doesn't look too severe so he's yet another who could have a say.

Not the most reliable but he was in good form at Warwick last month, finishing second over this trip before going one better over 3m. He's not the type to hold it together for too long, though.

Verdict

A competitive handicap in which plenty can be given a chance. STRICTLYADANCER shaped quite nicely at Haydock last time, that his first run after wind surgery, and is worth a chance to build on that for a trainer with a good record here. Game Line, Robin of Sherwood and Magic River head the many dangers.
