An improved performer over hurdles this winter, FRIEND OR FOE appeals as the type to make an even better chaser and, barring accidents, he should prove much too good for his two rivals. Highly Prized is clear second best on hurdles form, but I Can't Explain has far fewer miles on the clock and it would be no surprise were he to leave his low-key chase debut well behind here.
