Promising second of 7 in minor event over C&D (28/1) on his debut 22 days ago, running on after slow start. Sure to build on that, and bold showing is on the cards now.

Encouraging debut fourth of 9 in minor event (17/2) at Beverley (5f, good to firm) 12 days ago, running green and never nearer. Should have more to offer. Needs considering.

Forecasts

Edinson Kevani (6/5), Sahara Spear (5/2), Devious Angel (5/1), Favourite Child (10/1), Laoch Gach La (18/1), Ey Up Its The Boss (22/1)

Verdict

EDINSON KEVANI made a promising start when runner-up over C&D and is fancied to go one better with improvement very much in the pipeline for Philip Makin's son of Kodiac. Devious Angel also went with encouragement when seventh in a Newmarket maiden on her debut and rates the biggest danger, although Beverley-fourth Sahara Spear is another who could have a say too.

  1. EDINSON KEVANI (IRE)
  2. DEVIOUS ANGEL (IRE)
  3. SAHARA SPEAR
