Yet to add to Newbury debut success in 6 subsequent attempts and arrives on back of below-par efforts on the Flat at Lingfield in January. First run for yard since leaving Nicky Henderson.
Had been in good order prior to a lesser showing in competitive event at Cheltenham in December. Ran badly after 3 months off at Stratford 5 weeks ago and the cheekpieces need to spark a revival.
Finally off the mark under this conditional in 9-runner handicap hurdle at Taunton (19f, good) 11 days ago. Up 4 lb but sure to remain competitive now up and running.
Fair maiden who had every chance to shed his maiden tag when third in novice hurdle at Southwell in November. Opening mark looks fair and should be thereabouts if ready to roll.
Opened hurdles account at Market Rasen (16.5f) in December and added jumpers bumper to his tally in February. Ran well when runner-up at Ludlow last month and remains well handicapped.
Pulled up when last seen over hurdles in September but made a respectable return on the Flat after 7 months off at Bath just under a fortnight ago. Percentage call is to look elsewhere.
Fair hurdler who resumed winning ways after 12 weeks off and added to a good course record at Fakenham 20 days ago, just holding on. Up 6 lb but looks sure to go well once again with Jack Tudor up.

Forecasts
Hydroplane (13/8), Chez Hans (15/8), Tremwedge (11/2), Harefield (10/1), Limelighter (16/1), Glimpse Of Gold (18/1), Fraser Island (28/1)
This can go to CHEZ HANS, who improved to get off the mark under this rider at Taunton 11 days ago and should remain competitive from a 4 lb higher mark now he's up and running over timber. Hydroplane remains well handicapped following his recent second at Ludlow so is taken to chase the selection home, ahead of Glimpse Of Gold.
- CHEZ HANS (GER)
- HYDROPLANE (IRE)
- GLIMPSE OF GOLD
