Ex-French recruit who signed off with good seventh in Marsh Chase at Cheltenham last season. Major disappointment this term given that promise and cheekpieces now reached for.
Bumper winner who completed the hat-trick with bags in hand when winning 8-runner novice hurdle (10/11) at Carlisle 15 days ago. Remains unexposed and tops the shortlist with better to come.
Maintained unbeaten record for this yard when completing the hat-trick with complete authority at Uttoxeter back in August, drawing clear impressively over longer trip. More to come on handicap bow.
Fairly useful hurdler (won twice as a novice for John Quinn) who looked at least as good as ever as he gained a belated first success of the season at Sedgefield 24 days ago. Up 3 lb and shortlisted.
Good second in handicap hurdle at Kelso on return but hasn't quite reached that level since. Turned in a rare poor effort there last month but he's the type to bounce back quickly.
Fairly useful hurdler who put up a career best when landing a very uncompetitive event as far as handicaps go at Kelso just over 3 weeks ago. Up 6 lb and others appeal more now forced up in grade.
From a useful French family and showed fairly useful form when runner-up first 2 starts for this yard. No match for sole rival after a wind op here last month and tongue tie goes on for handicap bow.

Forecasts
Wetlands (7/4), Enemy Coast Ahead (10/3), Saint Sonnet (9/2), Ashington (13/2), Bass Rock (17/2), Leostar (14/1), Weather Front (33/1)
WETLANDS had plenty in hand when completing the hat-trick at Carlisle just over a fortnight ago. With plenty of potential still to be unlocked after only 5 starts over hurdles, he's taken to make his first start in handicaps a winning one. Enemy Coast Ahead looks another improver and could provide the main threat for Olly Murphy after an 8-month break, ahead of Bass Rock.
